So many "bug-mashers" hesitate to fly into Denver International, but it can be a great experience thanks in part to the first class service given us single-engine guys by Signature. While prices are high for fuel (they offer a 50-cent discount on weekends, so we ended up paying $5.23 a gallon) they wave the admin fee if you purchase 7 or more gallons. They will provide a free shuttle service to the main terminal to pick up commercial flight passengers, and the $40 airport landing fee is compensated by flying into a "real" airport. Controllers are very helpful going in and out, but get a good diagram of the field and a good picture of the many taxiways and "hold" points because getting to and from the GA FBO can require several frequency changes and some ground travel.
