I flew my AA-1 in this January only to find my airplane was covered in frost. The manager, who had time in Grummans, put my plane in the large hangar to warm it up at no charge. Then, in May I parked my AA-1 at Signature for an entire month at an extremely reasonable rate. When I returned I had found a birds nest in my aircraft. The Signature team worked hard to help me remove the birds nest so I could start my flight across the country. Worth the extra $$!
I normally go in and out of Lincoln Park but the wx was too low for any of their approaches so I gave MMU a try. I've got to agree with the rest of the comments. I fly a single engine piston experimental and didn't get the leprosy treatment I get at lots of large places. They waive the $28 handling fee for a 7 gal fuel purchase, which is pretty reasonable.
If there is a contest for best FBO on the East Coast, they get my vote. Attentive, courteous, and willing to go above and beyond without having to even ask, I highly recommend that you bring your business here. Gas was only slightly more expensive than home-drome prices, and overnight parking was $10. That's it for the FBO fees - no biggie. The bill from the airport will no doubt come later, but if MMU is close to where you need to go, exceptional service and a great experience awaits.
