Operators with Flexibility May Consider Other Area Signature Locations

Due to consistently high demand for private aircraft ramp space, Signature Flight Support at Boston-Logan Int'l Airport may require remote parking of business aircraft, and customers may experience extended wait times. In extreme circumstances that may arise from inclement weather or saturation of the remote parking area, aircraft may be required to reposition to another area airport. Demand is expected to ease after the Thanksgiving holiday at the close of November.
If the Signature Boston ramp adjacent to the FBO terminal becomes congested, overflow aircraft will be instructed to park on the J Pad at the south of the airport, directly adjacent to Runway 14. Passenger handling may occur on the remote J pad, but a crew member will be required to remain with the aircraft for the duration of its stay in remote parking. Limited FBO services are available in the remote parking area, and fueling and deicing operations are prohibited.
The J Pad is available until 2000L daily, weather permitting. Aircraft planning to stay after 2000L may be required to reposition to another airport.
Signature Flight Support locations at Lawrence G. Hanscom Field in Bedford, Massachusetts and at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire are full service FBO alternatives with ample parking and major road access to the Boston metropolitan area.
