East Midlands Airport is centrally
located and offers superb road connections to the cities
of Derby Leicester Nottingham and Stoke on Trent. With
the M1 motorway being adjacent to the airport, and the
new A50 road, driving to the theme park at Alton Towers
is possible in under 30 minutes. The historic city of
Nottingham with the legend of Robin Hood still in evidence
is the closest large city. The airport is also situated
close to the breathtaking Peak District National Park.
