Mark Johnstone

Group Chief Executive of BBA Aviation & CEO of Signature Flight Support

Mark became Group Chief Executive of BBA Aviation and the CEO of Signature Flight Support on 1 April 2018. He joined BBA Aviation in 2008 as Group Corporate Development Director before becoming CFO, Signature Flight Support in 2009. In September 2012, Mark took over as Managing Director of APPH, managing the turnaround of the business ahead of its successful sale in February 2014.

In March 2014, Mark became Managing Director EMEA, Flight Support with responsibility for Signature Flight Support and ASIG’s operations in the EMEA region.In 2016, Mark was appointed President and COO of Global Engine Services. Prior to joining BBA Aviation, Mark held roles in the aerospace and off-highway division of GKN plc. Mark is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours degree from Bristol University (UK).

Tony Lefebvre

Chief Operating Officer

Tony joined BBA Aviation in July 2013 as President and Chief Operating Officer and has been responsible for a number of portfolio businesses during his tenure, currently he is the President and COO of Global Engine Services and Signature Flight Support. Tony has over 25 years’ experience in the aviation industry.

Prior to joining BBA Aviation, Tony was the Chief Operating Officer of Spirit Airlines and previous to that role he was with US Airways serving as their Managing Director Europe. Tony holds a BA in Business from the University of Maryland.

Shawn Hall

Chief Commercial Officer

Shawn is the Chief Commercial Officer for Signature Flight Support (world’s largest network of FBOs), with responsibilities over global Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management, as well as driving strategic opportunities including joint ventures, investments, alliances, and new market initiatives. Before taking the CCO role, Shawn oversaw strategy and business development for the BBA Aviation portfolio.

Before BBA, Shawn held the position of Associate Partner with McKinsey & Co., where he covered the aviation (incl. OEMs, Airlines, PE), logistics and hospitality sectors. Additionally, Shawn served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator and Tactics Instructor Pilot in the F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet.

Shawn holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in International Global Affairs from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Shawn Fallon

Chief Financial Officer

Shawn joined BBA Aviation in 2009 and held a number of senior finance roles at Signature before being appointed Chief Financial Officer, BBA Aviation Global Engine Services Americas and then CFO Global Engine Services. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer, Signature Flight Support on 1 January 2019.

Shawn joined BBA Aviation from Flight Options LLC, the US fractional private jet operator. Shawn graduated with honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, MBA program and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Finance from John Carroll University

John Redcay

Senior Vice President Revenue Management

John serves Signature Flight Support in the capacity of Senior Vice President Revenue Management. He has an extensive background in pricing strategies and enterprise information systems, previously holding positions with TW Express and US Airways in which he adopted and applied advanced analytics and data management. Later, John held revenue management positions at Alamo Rent a Car, Priceline.com, Expedia, and Hotwire.

Most recently, John served as Vice President Pricing for the Hertz Corporation, supporting the integration and buildup of revenue management programs after the acquisition of Dollar Rent a Car and Thrifty Car Rental by Hertz.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.

Geoff Heck

Senior Vice President Operations - East

In the position of Senior Vice President Operations - East, Geoff oversees more than 60 Fixed Base Operator locations throughout the eastern portion of the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. He has progressed through a variety of leadership roles with Signature since joining the organization in 1995, including most recently Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the company's 200 worldwide locations.

Geoff has over 34 years of experience in the FBO and broader aviation industry, including base management and corporate administration roles. He holds an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, and has over 1,200 hours of flight time.

Eric Hietala

Senior Vice President Operations - West

As the Senior Vice President Operations - West, Eric oversees more than 60 locations from Hawaii to the Midwest. He began his career with Signature in a front line position in San Francisco more than 30 years ago and has since worked throughout the organization, including the role of General Manager at Washington National Airport which held the title of Best US FBO by Professional Pilot Magazine.

Eric served in an advisory capacity during the formation of the Transportation Safety Administration regarding matters on business aviation. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, and previously worked as an insurance defense attorney. He is an FAA licensed pilot, holding a private pilot certification.

Jim Hopkins

Senior Vice President Airport Relations

In his role at Signature as Senior Vice President, Airport Relations, Jim is responsible for Signature’s relationships with the airports it serves in North America and establishing new opportunities for both the airport and the airport’s community. He has participated in many successful airport FBO acquisitions and Request for Proposal responses.

Jim has 31 years of financial and operations experience in the aviation industry, starting with Piedmont Airlines. During his tenure at the company, he has held various roles from flying aircraft to overseeing an FBO network, repair stations, and Aircraft Management & Charter operations. Jim is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a major in Management Science. He is an ATP pilot and has over 5,000 hours of flight time.

Marty Kretchman

Senior Vice President Operations Planning

Marty currently serves as SVP Operations Planning, with responsibility for Signature’s fuel supply, equipment, customer experience, training, and safety programs. He joined Signature as part of the Landmark Aviation acquisition in 2016 as Director of Transitions, initially supporting the integration of the two businesses and moving on to lead other major projects for the Signature global network.

A lifetime aviation enthusiast, Marty previously served as an FBO General Manager for multiple organizations. He also flew business jets professionally for several years, and holds an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and Cessna Citation type rating with over 1,000 hours total flight time.
