1 Super Bowl XLV: The 45th annual edition of the Super Bowl in American football will
  be held on on February 6 in Dallas-Fort Worth for the first time.
2 The Dallas Cowboys: Dubbed by Forbes Magazine as the highest valued sports
  franchise in the history of the United States, this American football team
  is the only NFL team to record 20 consecutive winning seasons - one of the
  longest streaks in all of professional sports.
3 State Fair of Texas: This annual state fair is the largest in the United States, and
  usually begins on the last Friday of September and ends 24 days later. Held at the
  historic Fair Park, it's renowned for its Fried Foods Culinary Competitions.
4 Red River Rivalry: Commonly known as the OU-Texas Game, this is the
  annual college football game between the University of Texas Longhorns and the
  University of Oklahoma Sooners. Considered one of the greatest rivalries in
  American sports.
5 Greek Food Festival of Dallas: This food festival, organized by the Greek
  Orthodox Church, is held annually in September, and features traditional Greek
  cuisine and culture. Quite a surprise in the Lone Star State!

Dallas Love Field Airport

Located 6 miles northwest of the central business district of Dallas, Love Field is the city's secondary airport. It was named by the United States Army on October 19, 1917, in honor of Lieutenant Moss Lee Love.
