1 2011 US Tennis Open, NYC: The world's best tennis players including Rafael Nadal
  and Serena Williams, battle it out at this year's US Open Championships held daily at
  11 am and 7 pm from August 29 to September 11 at the USTA National Tennis Center.
2 Major League Baseball, NYC: Whether you are a fan or not, don't miss this
  opportunity to see The New York Yankees or The New York Mets. Regular season
  ends September 30th.
3 The Feast of San Gennaro, NYC: Established in 1926 by newly arrived immigrants
  from Naples, the Feast of San Gennaro features a colorful religious procession with
  accompany floats, marching bands and musical entertainers. The celebration runs
  from September 15 – 19 from 11:30 am to 11:30 pm (midnight on Fridays and
4 'Othello, The Moor of Venice': William Shakespeare's tale of love, jealousy, and
  betrayal is directed by Bonnie J. Monte who enters her 21st season as Artistic Director
  at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Runs from September 7 - October 2.
  Performances start at 8 pm.
5 Morristown Farmers Market: A very popular organic market held every Sunday
  and often with live animation. Located behind the post office, between Morris Street
  and Dumont Place, the market is open from 8 am - 2 pm until November 20.

Morristown Municipal Airport was established in 1929 and was originally home to the Country Aviation Club managed by the celebrated Clarence D. Chamberlin, who after Charles A. Lindbergh was the second person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Today it is the second-busiest general aviation airport in New Jersey and acts as a gateway to New York City situated only 27 miles / 43 kilometers away.
