Shönbrunn Palace |
This stunning palace is one of Vienna’s major tourist attractions, and for good reason. Comparable in grandeur to Versailles, the 1,441-room Schönbrunn Palace was built between 1696 and 1712 at the request of Emperor Leopold I, and later turned into the imperial summer palace by Maria Theresa. The Palace Park features attractions such as the Privy Garden, the oldest zoo in the world, and the Gloriette marble summerhouse, situated atop a towering hill.

Belvedere Complex |
Consisting of several palaces and an orangery that dates back to the late 17th century, Belvedere Complex was built for Prince Eugene of Savory as a summer home. The palace later served as home to French royalty during the French Revolution. Make sure to take in the view at night, as the light display is truly stunning.

St. Stephen’s Cathedral |
Also known as Stephansdom, this historic cathedral began as a humble parish church in the 12th century. Today, it is the home church for the Catholic archbishop in Vienna, and contains more than 18 alters and countless works of art. Even though the cathedral is one of Vienna’s most important landmarks, worship services are still held there on a daily basis.

Graben |
One of the most famous streets in central Vienna, Graben (or ‘trench’ in German) became one of the city’s first residential streets. It has since evolved from a humble home to local craftsmen in wooden houses into a hub of upscale shopping and elite residences.
