  TOP ATTRACTIONS:
Chicago

Soldier Field
Football season brings droves of sports fans to Soldier Field and the surrounding parkland, which features a children's garden and veteran's memorial. Originally opened in 1924, Soldier Field hosted crowds upwards of 100,000 during the Golden Age of Sports. It was also the birthplace of the Special Olympics, which held their first game there in 1968. The Chicago Bears began using the facility in 1971 and played their first game on the renovated Soldier Field in 2003. Soldier Field features exciting events throughout the year, including rock concerts, festivals, rodeos, circuses and more.

Navy Pier
This is the number one tourist destination in Chicago for good reason! Visitors flock to the pier to take in some of the city's most iconic sites, including a 200-ft Ferris wheel, beer garden and public art exhibitions. Whether you come for a seasonal event, to grab a bite to eat, or simply engage in the age-old art of people-watching, this is one spot you can't miss!

Art Institute of Chicago
As one of the city's most renowned cultural institutions, Art Institute of Chicago is home to over 300,000 art pieces—including Grant Wood's American Gothic and Edward Hopper's Nighthawks among thousands of classic paintings and contemporary works. You will also find such gems as the Thorne Miniature Room, which contains 68 extremely detailed recreations of American, European and Asian architecture and furniture at 1:12 scale. After taking in the sites, grab an authentic Italian dish while overlooking Millennium Park at Terzo Piano, the museum's onsite restaurant.

Millennium Park
No trip to Chicago is complete without a picture in front of the reflective Cloud Gate sculpture (nicknamed 'the Bean') at Millennium Park. As one of the most popular spots in the city, this 24.5-acre outdoor space features special events, art exhibits, live music, lush gardens and much more. Enjoy the ever-changing large-scale artwork installations while dining al fresco at Park Grill, or take a picnic lunch to one of the season's outdoor concert events.

Lincoln Park Zoo
This 35-acre zoo is home to over 1,000 animals, and is one of the last remaining free zoos in the country. Visit Penguin Cove to observe African penguins, gaze at scaly creatures in McCormick Reptile House or watch the large wild cats pounce in Kovler Lion House. In addition to animals of all stripes (and spots), the zoo features a number of educational programs and special seasonal events—including yoga classes, wine nights and craft brewing gatherings—that keep visitors coming back for more!
